Personality
Extrovert
Nana has no rhyme or reason to enter into your life, if she's there she's there - and boy will she demonstrate her want to stay. To the point if you are one to end someone's life for annoyance alone, the woman would welcome the playful regard depending on the type of individual that you are. Working in the brothel or growing up strictly having very little to her name, made her susceptible to others emotions and reading them is something she can easily do - to some extent.
Someone who acts suspicious to her, will garner her resolve to act in survival mode - a character like Belial from Gran Blue would make her be apprehensive at all times. Distrusting but still enjoy the comical exchange, especially being a bit of a perv herself. Whereas someone like Adachi from Persona or Gilgamesh from Fate, would flag her mind that you are someone she needs to watch for. Not that she knows anything about you, but merely the distrust is there and the discomfort comes from the mistreatment of others she knows she sees and hears in the tone of characters voices who are like this. For her a persons tone, voice, and expression give way to everything she can see in a person and will tip her off. Especially being an ex courtesan, think of it as a person who had undergone abuse -which she has. Certain tones and body language will make her go into survival mode. Where as someone overly friendly, may activate her want to be suspicious of you at any rate. People who act naturally to her estrange understanding of a moral compass, are individuals she appreciates.
In some moments her playful banter is warming, motherly even as she is the eldest of 12 children the woman has a way with younger individuals. Will often treat you akin to family or her child whether it is something you wish for or not. Your wellbeing over her own, in her eyes that is. Not to mention the sort of mannerisms most Cat folk adorn, especially Miqo’te folk. She especially adores children and readily wishes to be a mother herself, so do not give her the time of day if you even so much have interest in that. Like Elphet from Guilty Gear, she may ask you to sign papers with her and start a family if you are ardently serious - at the same time she will seriously vet you and your capacity to father.
Conversation is everything, especially to someone who gazes and people watch. The tone of your voice, your body language, and fervent existence is something she lives for. Thrives for. Hungers for. Speaking to her is like being placed at a buffet table, her cat-like eyes will peer into your soul and very existence and you may feel as if you are being eaten away by her domineering look. The woman is no stranger to conversation, and can craftily tide a convo into depths you've never seen or into comical short banter at the drop of a hat. Her smooth way of orchestrating it, is much like the waves of an ocean.
Introvert
“Do you want to see it?” A peculiar question, but something she often thinks in every instance of conversation. The things that no one person might look upon, Nana would gladly peer into the void and smile back at it. Her double personality in FF14 is easily explained by her enmity as a Dark Knight, however in other Fantasy or in her original alternate world. Can be discerned as someone with two distinct personalities that each is still undoubtedly her. Her introversion often comes out in the tenderness of her actions, she loves the silent depth between two people who know each other. If she does not need to talk, she wont. Yet, if she wishes to speak and drag you below the depths of the ocean wherein you need to peer at the ever cracking heart of yours burdening the weight of the ocean. She will do that too.
Nana does not fear death, but she fears pain. The more that you learn of her, the more you will understand she endures a lot of stress and struggles that have taxed onto her utter existence. As a warrior of light this is easy to understand, and why she picked up the Great sword in the first place. After the death of her dearest friend, and looking onward of the fate she would endure - to bring about the salvation of Doma people. Nana had to take on a facade she did not want to take, a person who with understanding of what she was doing. Would kill, for peace to come upon the war. She knows she is a killer, and this stained her heart gravely as one who lives to love all.
Nana does not fear death, but she fears the truth of being alone. Yet it does not stop her, she would run face first into her own death if it means that those behind her would live on dearly. In her original verse, Nana is virtually unliked by the world but loved by one Goddess. In her original verse, her name is ‘The Maiden.’ The Maiden( or in ff14 Hydaelyn ) took pity on the girl who would be forsaken by the universe itself that she help create, and blessed her with her pity. In doing so, she cursed her with the inability to die peacefully. The cost of doing such a thing, meant that Nana could not die peacefully and would wholly live a life of struggles that she needed to face on her own accord. It is a big reason for her introversion, that unbeknownst to her she was damned to a life of struggles that meant she would face headstrong with hope in her eyes that life could be better for someone like her. Rather that, she is unaware of the unfortunate curse that holds her tightly.
Albeit the depraved livelihood currently spoken about, it is imperative to understand that in her introversion. As the truth of it all, is that she simply enjoys and yearns for the quietness of life. To be a mother of many, live her life in a small home with another man by her side. Reading books about her favorite interests, helping others with their own troubles or life. When she meets those who live softly, she wants nothing but to join them in their silence. To peer upon the horizon and think or know, this is all what life will ever be. A snail’s pace comparison to the extroversion that often follows her about.
Stagnation is not something she specifically fears, no because to her the stagnation and stillness of life is much like the vast calm ocean. Beautiful. Endless. Calm. So full and teeming with life.

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Nana will always have the theme of Oceans, stars, and astrology/tarot reading in her abilities. I may not mention it in detail through the ability description, but a lot of her aesthetics and themes surrounds the gravity of the ocean. Pressurized like space, and the stars within. etc.

Echo I made her echo a tad bit different, but I do not recall the details. For now it’s just your run of the mill echo.
Classes she has: Astrologer ( MAIN ), White mage, Dark Knight.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Nana has no interest in learning other classes, or more like they have no imperativeness in her story. Especially since I do like to write that there is more then one Warrior of Light in her story, these are the job stones & story she went through. White Mage is the only unique story different class that is not like the main story quest line for it. I wont go into detail, there are tons of information online if you are that interested!
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Astrologer Nana has mastered the control of Aether from the celestial bodies and can use it to heal wounds and effectively commune with the stars. She is an avid Tarot reader.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀White Magic In actuality her conjuring skills are low, since after she got her White Mage stone. She turned away the prospect of conjuring to learn Astrology.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Dark Knight Void magic is determine and inferred to be all about emotional power, Nana is strongest and most powerful as Dark Knight because of her immense and immaculate emotional level. I’ve written that it canonly has made Zenos shudder in his boots and made him want to know more about how it is she ‘loves’ the way that she does without going mad. Especially when she weaponizes it the way that she does.

All Original Verses
Passive Trait
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀9 Lives Cats in her original verse have this special clairvoyant ability to see 9 of their deaths, where they can change their fate before it happens. This was gifted to them a long time ago by the God Lion, who was tired of his indigenous people being killed by other nations or countries. In doing this the God Lion salvaged the last of his people and managed to cease their extinction from occurring. However, they are low in numbers and a dwindling population regardless.
Sorceress Verse
Water Magic Nana can control the water Element and Body Alignment .
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Water Magic is not limited to just water, she can turn it into ice. Nana has a love for swords and star aesthetics. So will make use of fighting as a sorceress by turning her water magic into swords that have been permanently frozen over by her whim.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Body Magic is limited to the physical realm. She can physically heal you with her spells, but she cannot do magic like cast buffs or debuffs. That is SOUL alignment. Which is literally the opposite spectrum of her chosen alignment. She can cast small illusionary spell magic, at beginner SOUL ALIGNMENT level. However she chooses to learn how to heal and mend physical wounds. Summoning Spells
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Summoning magic is it’s own section and any Sorcerer or magician is allowed to do it. Depending on your mana level, and emotional will power to push over other beings will. Nana can summon magical beasts, familiars, at a mid power level. Beasts with their own sentient will, similar to how humans have. Like Demons, Dragons, or the like. She has to form a pact with, otherwise she cannot control them. Those with higher level Will power or Charisma can force their will upon those beings, Nana cannot.
Item Reinforcement
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Spellcraft Nana can reinforce weaponry but she cannot create magic weapons. That is High level Mage stuff.
Knight Verse
Alighment Magic Nana’s Magic in the Body Alignment or Soul Alignment helps her with buffs & ability to wield a sword.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Soul Magic Nana is not physically strong. However this is where her soul magic comes into play, Soul magic allows her to use more or less what Void Magic is in FF14 to give her replaced strength. Her ability to turn her emotions or mental fortitude into a physical weapon, is unique. She literally weaponizes her emotions against other people. When fighting against contenders who are physically stronger than she is, it is less that her body is strong and more that her soul magic pours into a container ( her body ) and forces the body to do her bidding. Think those who are under an adrenaline rush doing physical feats they normally cannot do. This often exhausts her soul and often when pushing the limit, can cut her life expectancy in half.
This is why it is unique to her, as a Cat Folk she will utilize her 9 lives in this way. To break the barriers of impossible battles by trading one of her clairvoyant lives to push pass limiters that no one person should ever be able to even with Soul or Body magic.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Body Magic Nana has sacrificed her love of the elements to be able to confer the Physical Realm of magic. In doing so she is able to heal herself, give her more of an edge in fights, and make her body do more than what people may think it is able to do.
This means she is susceptible to elemental spells but strong against Physical and Soul user magics.
Relic Weapon
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀The Sword A great sword was bestowed upon her by a echoing voice that beckons her to come find him. She does not know that the great sword itself belongs to the Holy Knight - A fragmented God that exists on their mortal realm. Who loved the Maiden dearly, and wished for her to come with other Guardians ( this worlds name of Heros ). To break the cycle of fate otherwise their Universe will be doomed into stagnation.
Instead Nana likes to use the Sword sometimes as a prop for sexy scanty pictures of herself looking cool. Or cutting apart bread on the off chance it’s the only sharp object around.
Warrior Verse

It now is not only buffed with Body Magic she has studied with, but also Soul magic that she tears against her existence to make her oftentimes a bloody murderer.

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀The Axe This weapon is enchanted that the user who utilizes soul magic pours their fury and anguish into it will burn and cast away anything in its way. The properties work against those in the ethereal plane as well. Like demons, ghosts, or the likes.

General Progression
Trigger warning: the following will contain sexual abuse mention and child sexual abuse.
★ Her family is poor, they grew up typically at the slums and impoverished areas.
☆ CSA victim, protected younger siblings, utalized sex as a means to try to control situations growing up.
★ Around 16 learned to start selling her body for money.
☆ Around 18 started to learn about astrology to try to find another source of income that was not selling her body.
★ Around 23 she understands this very dark outlook of life, enmity/two personality existence is cemented and more abundantly aware to others and herself here.
☆ Around 25 normally begins her journey into a ‘new life’. In ff14 she went to new gridania her starting point into conjuring. In Original verses she normally decides to go full into selling tarot card readings, and trying to be a baker or florist. Or this is the point in her hero verses where she ends up becoming a late start hero. Either as a traveling sorceress, a Knight figure, or someone who breaks under the weight and struggles of her life.
★ What you get is someone who understands the balance of good and bad of life, and she acts the way she does because of it. SCALES are a big thing as balance is a key point in story telling for her. Everything has consequence, and she understands that her stupidity to want to help others or save the world will come at a cost or consequence she is willing to put her own life(lives) on the line for.

☆ The scale weapon was her original weapon in an oc group she was in, the weapons evolve and hers was a scale starting and would evolve into an axe, great sword, or staff. If it stayed the same then she would have understood what it meant to be 'balanced.' A version of her I havent roleplayed or thought much about. Lol maybe when endwalkers comes out.
★ She is big on info dumping esp nerding out about Knight lore that she thinks everyone needs to know. She also talks a lot when doing tarot readings sometimes, and can have deep extensive thoughtful monologues.
