So the actual characters that inspired Nana existence is different, she started as a self insert joke. Into her own renowned character, these are 3 of ... A few characters you can best associate her with that I know currently best fit her aesthetics & personality. I would almost muse Komaeda for how his luck/ties to hope work. Though not in the deprave sense - but she could be that way albeit more sexual.

Nana is hard to delegate familiarity because at first glance you think shes sporadic in her nature, but she's actually very straight forward and easy to understand. Nana has no rhyme or reason to enter into your life, if she's there she's there - and boy will she demonstrate her want to stay. To the point if you are one to end someone's life for annoyance alone, the woman would welcome the playful regard depending on the type of individual that you are. Working in the brothel or growing up strictly having very little to her name, made her susceptible to others emotions and reading them is something she can easily do - to some extent.
Someone who acts suspicious to her, will garner her resolve to act in survival mode - a character like Belial from Gran Blue would make her be apprehensive at all times. Distrusting but still enjoy the comical exchange, especially being a bit of a perv herself. Whereas someone like Adachi from Persona or Gilgamesh from Fate, would flag her mind that you are someone she needs to watch for. Not that she knows anything about you, but merely the distrust is there and the discomfort comes from the mistreatment of others she knows she sees and hears in the tone of characters voices who are like this. For her a persons tone, voice, and expression give way to everything she can see in a person and will tip her off. Especially being an ex courtesan, think of it as a person who had undergone abuse -which she has. Certain tones and body language will make her go into survival mode. Where as someone overly friendly, may activate her want to be suspicious of you at any rate. People who act naturally to her estrange understanding of a moral compass, are individuals she appreciates.
In some moments her playful banter is warming, motherly even as she is the eldest of 12 children the woman has a way with younger individuals. Will often treat you akin to family or her child whether it is something you wish for or not. Your wellbeing over her own, in her eyes that is. Not to mention the sort of mannerisms most Cat folk adorn, especially Miqo’te folk. She especially adores children and readily wishes to be a mother herself, so do not give her the time of day if you even so much have interest in that. Like Elphet from Guilty Gear, she may ask you to sign papers with her and start a family if you are ardently serious - at the same time she will seriously vet you and your capacity to father.
Conversation is everything, especially to someone who gazes and people watch. The tone of your voice, your body language, and fervent existence is something she lives for. Thrives for. Hungers for. Speaking to her is like being placed at a buffet table, her cat-like eyes will peer into your soul and very existence and you may feel as if you are being eaten away by her domineering look. The woman is no stranger to conversation, and can craftily tide a convo into depths you've never seen or into comical short banter at the drop of a hat. Her smooth way of orchestrating it, is much like the waves of an ocean.

Introvert

“Do you want to see it?” A peculiar question, but something she often thinks in every instance of conversation. The things that no one person might look upon, Nana would gladly peer into the void and smile back at it. Her double personality in FF14 is easily explained by her enmity as a Dark Knight, however in other Fantasy or in her original alternate world. Can be discerned as someone with two distinct personalities that each is still undoubtedly her. Her introversion often comes out in the tenderness of her actions, she loves the silent depth between two people who know each other. If she does not need to talk, she wont. Yet, if she wishes to speak and drag you below the depths of the ocean wherein you need to peer at the ever cracking heart of yours burdening the weight of the ocean. She will do that too.
Nana does not fear death, but she fears pain. The more that you learn of her, the more you will understand she endures a lot of stress and struggles that have taxed onto her utter existence. As a warrior of light this is easy to understand, and why she picked up the Great sword in the first place. After the death of her dearest friend, and looking onward of the fate she would endure - to bring about the salvation of Doma people. Nana had to take on a facade she did not want to take, a person who with understanding of what she was doing. Would kill, for peace to come upon the war. She knows she is a killer, and this stained her heart gravely as one who lives to love all.
Nana does not fear death, but she fears the truth of being alone. Yet it does not stop her, she would run face first into her own death if it means that those behind her would live on dearly. In her original verse, Nana is virtually unliked by the world but loved by one Goddess. In her original verse, her name is ‘The Maiden.’ The Maiden( or in ff14 Hydaelyn ) took pity on the girl who would be forsaken by the universe itself that she help create, and blessed her with her pity. In doing so, she cursed her with the inability to die peacefully. The cost of doing such a thing, meant that Nana could not die peacefully and would wholly live a life of struggles that she needed to face on her own accord. It is a big reason for her introversion, that unbeknownst to her she was damned to a life of struggles that meant she would face headstrong with hope in her eyes that life could be better for someone like her. Rather that, she is unaware of the unfortunate curse that holds her tightly.
Albeit the depraved livelihood currently spoken about, it is imperative to understand that in her introversion. As the truth of it all, is that she simply enjoys and yearns for the quietness of life. To be a mother of many, live her life in a small home with another man by her side. Reading books about her favorite interests, helping others with their own troubles or life. When she meets those who live softly, she wants nothing but to join them in their silence. To peer upon the horizon and think or know, this is all what life will ever be. A snail’s pace comparison to the extroversion that often follows her about.
Stagnation is not something she specifically fears, no because to her the stagnation and stillness of life is much like the vast calm ocean. Beautiful. Endless. Calm. So full and teeming with life.

Echo I made her echo a tad bit different, but I do not recall the details. For now it’s just your run of the mill echo.
Classes she has: Astrologer ( MAIN ), White mage, Dark Knight.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Nana has no interest in learning other classes, or more like they have no imperativeness in her story. Especially since I do like to write that there is more then one Warrior of Light in her story, these are the job stones & story she went through. White Mage is the only unique story different class that is not like the main story quest line for it. I wont go into detail, there are tons of information online if you are that interested!
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Astrologer Nana has mastered the control of Aether from the celestial bodies and can use it to heal wounds and effectively commune with the stars. She is an avid Tarot reader.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀White Magic In actuality her conjuring skills are low, since after she got her White Mage stone. She turned away the prospect of conjuring to learn Astrology.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Dark Knight Void magic is determine and inferred to be all about emotional power, Nana is strongest and most powerful as Dark Knight because of her immense and immaculate emotional level. I’ve written that it canonly has made Zenos shudder in his boots and made him want to know more about how it is she ‘loves’ the way that she does without going mad. Especially when she weaponizes it the way that she does.

All Original Verses

Passive Trait
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀9 Lives Cats in her original verse have this special clairvoyant ability to see 9 of their deaths, where they can change their fate before it happens. This was gifted to them a long time ago by the God Lion, who was tired of his indigenous people being killed by other nations or countries. In doing this the God Lion salvaged the last of his people and managed to cease their extinction from occurring. However, they are low in numbers and a dwindling population regardless.

Sorceress Verse

Water Magic Nana can control the water Element and Body Alignment .
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Water Magic is not limited to just water, she can turn it into ice. Nana has a love for swords and star aesthetics. So will make use of fighting as a sorceress by turning her water magic into swords that have been permanently frozen over by her whim.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Body Magic is limited to the physical realm. She can physically heal you with her spells, but she cannot do magic like cast buffs or debuffs. That is SOUL alignment. Which is literally the opposite spectrum of her chosen alignment. She can cast small illusionary spell magic, at beginner SOUL ALIGNMENT level. However she chooses to learn how to heal and mend physical wounds.

Summoning Spells
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Summoning magic is it’s own section and any Sorcerer or magician is allowed to do it. Depending on your mana level, and emotional will power to push over other beings will. Nana can summon magical beasts, familiars, at a mid power level. Beasts with their own sentient will, similar to how humans have. Like Demons, Dragons, or the like. She has to form a pact with, otherwise she cannot control them. Those with higher level Will power or Charisma can force their will upon those beings, Nana cannot.
Item Reinforcement
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Spellcraft Nana can reinforce weaponry but she cannot create magic weapons. That is High level Mage stuff.

Knight Verse

Alighment Magic Nana’s Magic in the Body Alignment or Soul Alignment helps her with buffs & ability to wield a sword.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Soul Magic Nana is not physically strong. However this is where her soul magic comes into play, Soul magic allows her to use more or less what Void Magic is in FF14 to give her replaced strength. Her ability to turn her emotions or mental fortitude into a physical weapon, is unique. She literally weaponizes her emotions against other people. When fighting against contenders who are physically stronger than she is, it is less that her body is strong and more that her soul magic pours into a container ( her body ) and forces the body to do her bidding. Think those who are under an adrenaline rush doing physical feats they normally cannot do. This often exhausts her soul and often when pushing the limit, can cut her life expectancy in half.
This is why it is unique to her, as a Cat Folk she will utilize her 9 lives in this way. To break the barriers of impossible battles by trading one of her clairvoyant lives to push pass limiters that no one person should ever be able to even with Soul or Body magic.
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀Body Magic Nana has sacrificed her love of the elements to be able to confer the Physical Realm of magic. In doing so she is able to heal herself, give her more of an edge in fights, and make her body do more than what people may think it is able to do.
This means she is susceptible to elemental spells but strong against Physical and Soul user magics.
Relic Weapon
⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀The Sword A great sword was bestowed upon her by a echoing voice that beckons her to come find him. She does not know that the great sword itself belongs to the Holy Knight - A fragmented God that exists on their mortal realm. Who loved the Maiden dearly, and wished for her to come with other Guardians ( this worlds name of Heros ). To break the cycle of fate otherwise their Universe will be doomed into stagnation.
Instead Nana likes to use the Sword sometimes as a prop for sexy scanty pictures of herself looking cool. Or cutting apart bread on the off chance it’s the only sharp object around.

Warrior Verse

General Progression

Trigger warning: the following will contain sexual abuse mention and child sexual abuse.
★ Her family is poor, they grew up typically at the slums and impoverished areas.

★ Around 23 she understands this very dark outlook of life, enmity/two personality existence is cemented and more abundantly aware to others and herself here.
☆ Around 25 normally begins her journey into a ‘new life’. In ff14 she went to new gridania her starting point into conjuring. In Original verses she normally decides to go full into selling tarot card readings, and trying to be a baker or florist. Or this is the point in her hero verses where she ends up becoming a late start hero. Either as a traveling sorceress, a Knight figure, or someone who breaks under the weight and struggles of her life.
★ What you get is someone who understands the balance of good and bad of life, and she acts the way she does because of it. SCALES are a big thing as balance is a key point in story telling for her. Everything has consequence, and she understands that her stupidity to want to help others or save the world will come at a cost or consequence she is willing to put her own life(lives) on the line for.

Motivations: Love of others; Nana's experiences in life which were typically harsh and innumerable in trauma or lacking in hope at times. Over View: Nana's personality is very overwhelming or rambunctious. The truth is and if you read this, that her personality is a hoax of sorts. Her initial personality is the one people want from her - the hero people forced onto her. Or someone they want to see around. Otherwise her personality beneath it - if you can catch it. Is calm, cold, and collected. She is always in control of a situation, even her personality. It is rare that she will act a certain way she does not - and if she does. Then you know you hurt her, or something seriously wrong is going on. As such many people will feel she is fake, or chosing to be someone she is not. This is not the case, her personalities are different ranges of her. An extension of who the world wrought her to be ( THINK LIKE KIARA FROM FATE ). She wears them as a mask, and a means to protect her true feelings as well. Which are honestly childish and foolish if viewed for what they are. As her deep feelings are earnest and innocent in a matter of speaking. Her personality is compelling, and a big part of her narrative/story telling she is in terms of writing. If you find her annoying or overwhelming - this is good. She is doing this often on purpose.

Handling Conflict: Nana is very argumentative, she believes if you are going to start conflict then you sure as hell be ready to end it. Or she will.

First Impressions: Always with Cat ears, and facial like whisker markings that seem faded at the tips with some of them. Typically she is a Snow Leopard, if the universe is FF14 then she is simply a Miqo'te with no difference to her ears style or tail. Rather that her tail is merely long and a bit thicker.

Description: Nana has a toned body from natural manual labor. This is also because as a once sex worker or courtesan/escort. The woman understood that her body was the only form of value she could attain from the world. As such, her breast which are large and shapely. Stand out to most at first, most of the time she dresses modest with the acceptance or allowance. Of her crevices to be exposed as shirts typically do not fit her at her front.
⠀ ⠀In fact a reason why she typically wears only high waisted items, is to save the face that most shirts stop short of her belly or do not fit properly. She salvages this by wearing long pants or skirts that will settle beneath her breast.
⠀ ⠀Otherwise, the only other thing that would stand out is the sensual curves of her stature. She for a lack of a better words, looks provocative but her mannerisms are often humble and modest. This is because she spent many years selling her body, and is now in a habit of her body having to always naturally come off as sexually appealing. So despite her modest body language. First Impressions: You will notice her breasts most likely. Then her eyes, and how they glow like embers in the dark. Most Universes she is inhibited by Dark Magic to make her stronger in some way, and as such the tell for it is typically in the flicker of her eyes. When she reveals more of her truest personality or truest self.

Prologue

⠀ ⠀Nana always starts coming from circumstances where one side of her family was rich, by extension of her father. Who choses to break off from the family and return to the cities where he will give unto them his genius sciences. They take him, and unteach him the way of his people. Her father then, becomes rich and begins to romanticize the value of 'opportunities.' Where opportunities that were given to him, he believes all have it. Nana, does not see this and watches her father taken from her, especially as he marries to a woman of high rank.
⠀ ⠀Her father has many beautiful children to this new woman, and Nana yearns to go back to her people - her home. At a young age she begins to rebel, and her father with such anger of her. While this goes about, the world who knows nothing of her kind of people begin to either take special treatment of her or hate her for being treated special. Unaware of what to do, she continues to fight the people who she is meant to live with - and her family situation at home. It gets to the point her father has enough, and demands that she understand her position.
⠀ ⠀However, Nana cannot because she is treated like an animal at the zoo by people around her. Either they are hungry to see her, touch her, have her, be her friend - not valuing who she is as a person. This causes a break in her psyche, to become the one people want her to be and the child within her. Begins to hide away, this further cements when her father - feeling tired of her antics. Throws her out and sends her away to live with her birth mother.
⠀ ⠀Nana by this point has been sexually taken advantage over, been monopolized with love people have of her because they think she's unique, and also hated simultaneously for the same reasons. With such festering hunger to fight for the right to exist as who she is, she returns to her mother as damaged goods.

Chapter : Beginings

⠀ ⠀ ⠀Returning to her mother was not something any better, however her mother who filled with love accepted her. Had been busied with the task of raising 5 children on her own. Some of whom she adopted after the poverish strife of her people worsen'd when Nana was not around. The anguish of what had happened to her did not leave from Nana, and now tasked with helping her mother. Her siblings, and the love she had for all of them. She set to the easiest job that had been available to her people.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀Nana's people are generally polyamorous individuals, and Nana herself believed to be for some time. Until she romantically saw the value in monogamy, in that as time went on. Nana felt compelled to share her life and soul with one person as opposed to her body and life with others. That is to say, her people respectfully do not feel this is demeaning. To them, love is a celebration that stems from a love of family and taking care of one another. Judgement and bias against an individuals choice does not exist, but it is precisely why how those of greater power took advantage over them. Seeing their polyamorous as a tool for them to more or less draw them into the sex trade.

With her people living within the slums and unable to drag themselves out of their situation. They were suckered into this habit to whence many to this day do not realize - that is Nana had. With her ferocity and love toward those around her. Watching as those she called friends get taken advantage over, she tried very hard to step up and gain their freedom.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀Her voice never reached anyone, even though she earnestly tried and continued to dream of it. From here, Nana began to feed the personality or presence of anger and hatred for all things of the world. While the small child within her continued to still love and devout itself to caring for everyone she met. Through this alone her integrity was kept, and as she longed for freedom the woman turned to the stars. Turned to the divine. Turned to her intuition, and after some time Nana managed to learn the way of the stars and cards. Where she hoped to make money this way, instead of selling her body.

Chapter : Who to be?

⠀ ⠀ ⠀It was her connections to the stars that she began to realize where her calling were, if there was to be no peace in her heart. Then she could, at least bring peace to all things if not herself. There was want of her to reach far beyond the things no one person could see, or perceive. With her love and enamor evidently there, and the seeming festering hatred she had for other people and society. It set her readings and ability to discern people apart from most, she did not fear what people did not want to say. Cared little for the social norms of kindness, if it meant her honesty would have to be fastened for a lesser truth.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀Nana thusly, took to her new alias name: Shepherd of Stars. In hopes that, one day she could lead the world into a better course than the way it reared itself into conception regularly. Person by person, one step at a time - there was no rush for she welcomed death. As death would mean, she would quaintly be put to rest and end her sufferings. However, for the time being as the world would not grant her this. Nana would live, live as someone who would have a care to help all.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀A part of her, which romanticized the ideals of Hero's wished to be a Knight with vindication. Strength - however the Knight life were not one for her. That is, not in the meaning or ideal she thought. The conception of Dark Knight veers her heart and solely instructs her quietly with the reality that: The Justice you desire, would come at the cost of your self.. "And pay it I would," The woman would rear quietly to no one but herself.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀Another solemn voice wished to just guide people, as long as life would allow her. Gently tell stories of the things she has seen, tell them of the stories the stars wish to be perceived. Give reason for those lost, to continue to guide themselves into their own happy ending. The Heart within her, often wished and tided to be much like a Witch of the depths of Oceans. Diving into the well of people, whoms feelings were but turbulent waves that often were encompassing.
⠀ ⠀ ⠀Then ever so often, a voice would rally her anger. Beg of her, to kill all things - because it is in you to do so. Nana, would smile to such feelings and laugh bitterly. It would be so easy to enact the cruel whim of unkindness, and destroy all things that have hurt me. What an easy and lucky life to live, if I ever did.
